Team 1

No. 61 2022 6’2 Clavance Alvares (Grace Baptist Academy)

Alvares had a great day at the camp. He’s a true PG who takes pride in doing all of the small things that can help you win games. His effort was 100% and he was always talking to his teammates on both sides of the ball. Alvares has a big frame that allows him to get into the lane and get off his seemingly unstoppable floater. On the defensive end he puts pressure on opposing guards causing 5 second counts and forcing steals.

No.12 6’2  2022 Tre Dismuke (Columbus)

Dismuke had a solid day. He likes to score points in bunches and is always in attack mood. He has a good handle which allows him to get to his spots and finish tough shots at a high rate. He does a great job of slowing down other guards and forcing them into making bad passes which lead to buckets on the other end. As his game continues to grow and it all slows down mentally, he will be one to watch. In a loaded 2022 class in Mississippi he is one of the best.

No. 72 2022 6’8 Parker Henry (West Lauderdale)

Parker always brings a great attitude to the court every time I see him. He works very hard on both ends, doing all of the things that other players don’t want to do. He rebounds, sets pick, and can finish well around the basket. Throughout the day we got to see a lot of things that will make him very marketable for D1 coaches. His ability to knock down shots outside of the paint causes mismatches for any traditional big man. As he continues to add strength to his frame the sky is the limit for Parker.

No.21 2022 5’9 Reese Jackson (Starkville Academy)

Reese brought a lot of energy with him to the camp. He plays extremely hard on both ends of the court. He can handle, pass, and score when he needs to. His strong frame allows him to make plays rather it be grabbing a rebound or finishing through contact at the basket. Expect big things for Jackson at Starkville academy this season.

No.78 2020 6’ Jacob James (Wheeler )

When it came to making plays James did just that. With a team full of weapons on the day, James took charge of running PG and making sure his teammates got the ball in the right spots to make plays. He’s a smooth guard with a nice handle and good vision. He can finish around the rim and knock down the 3 ball as well. The highlight of the day was when he broke down the defense and found a teammate with a no look pass that ended with a dunk.

No.79 2020 6’7 Emile Kazeneza (Grace Baptist Academy)

Skill Master is the perfect way to sum up the game of Emile Kazeneza. When drills started it was obvious that Kazeneza was going to have a great day. We really saw the skill when 1 on 1 started. He was toying with defenders even with only taking two dribbles. He packs an advance offensive skill set and makes it look effortless. His feel for the game allows him to make plays on and off the ball. His length causes opposing players problems as he came up with multiple steals and blocks all day long. D1 coaches need to jump in ASAP and start recruiting this kid.

No.51 2020 6’4 Isaiah Thompson (Amory)

Thompson is one that I’ve been intrigued with since the state games in Atlanta. He’s super athletic and uses his body well. Throughout the day he always found himself above the rim, taking advantage of mismatches and bad switches. The college coaches talked about Thompson all day and rightfully so. Look for him to have a big senior year at Amory.

No.52 2022 5’7 Chingun Tsogt-Erdene (Starkville)

Chingun had great effort on the day. He went through the stations showing he has the ability and understanding of the game that is good for his age. Chingun is a great teammate and had a smile on his face the entire camp. As he continues to work on his game he can only get better.
