Team 3

No. 63 2021 6’3 Keithean Brooks Lake Cormorant (MS)

Brooks was a ball of energy and that was evident from warmups and carried on into game play. He attacks the rim strong all day and converted most of those attempts. On the defensive end he plays great defense on the perimeter and can go in and grab boards if needed. He is also a capable 3point shooter.

No.7 2021 6’2 Destaan Buchanan Okolona (MS)

Buchanan showed throughout the day that he has the tools to be a good player. He played good defense and made it easy for teammates to get buckets. He made some good basketball plays and scored some buckets as well.

No. 64 2020 6’6 Yohana Del Grace Baptist Academy (MS)

Yohana is a skilled athletic wing with lots of potential. On the day he made it look easy with effortless finishes around the basket. He has a killer spin move which he used often on the day. He has a smooth jumper and picks his spots well. His length allows him to guard multiple positions and grab boards with ease.

No.13 2022 5’10 Tremaine Dixon Raymond (MS)

In a loaded 2022 class Dixon is at the top. He came into the camp with a lot of buzz around his name following a good summer and only helped his stock with his performance at camp. His development as a PG as progressed since I last saw him in May. He’s a strong lead guard who can make plays for others and create for himself in the process. Getting to the basket comes easy and the extended range makes him a tough cover.

No.17 2022 5’8 Derrick Hall South Delta (MS)

Coming from South Mississippi Hall had a good showing. He played with a lot of passion and energy. He made open shots and looked good playing within the team setting.

No. 18 2021 6’4 Antonio Harmon Kosciusko (MS)

Antonio had a good day. He plays hard and uses his size well.  Long wing with sneaky athleticism. Good stroke on his three-point shot and can string together 2-3 when it is dropping. Has a knack for finding the sweet spot in both transition and the half-court offense.

No. 76 2021 6’ Philip Hughes Madison Ridgeland Academy (MS)

Philip was one of the craftiest guards at the event. It was hard for defenders to stay in front of him and force him to make a mistake. His playmaking ability is one of the best we saw all day. Philip is a true PG who makes the game easier for all his teammates.

No. 77 2020 6’3 Trey Jackson Starkville (MS)

Trey is always one of the smartest players on the floor. He can do a little bit of everything on both ends. He can shoot the 3 well and get to the basket when needed. He has a nice handle and can take defenders off the dribble to hit tough shots. With his size and athleticism, he can guard multiple positions on the floor. Trey will be a good glue guy for any team at the next level.

No. 30 2020 6’1 Felix Moore Grace Baptist Academy (MS)

Moore is a strong bodied combo guard who bullies guys around. He used his strength and length all camp to score buckets and stop guys from getting buckets on him. He made his living by attacking the basket and he also knocked down a few 3s.

No. 57 2020 6’ Markeece Wilson St. Aloysius (MS)

Wilson brought a great attitude to camp. One could see he was really soaking in the moment. HE played with a lot of passion and didn’t do anything to hurt his stock. He played well within the team system and made plays for others.

No. 83 2023 Micheal Smith Houston (MS)

Another freshman who has a lot of upside is Smith. Smith brings a lot of size and athleticism to any team. He dunks it with ease and grabs boards frequently. Playing with the older guys didn’t phase him much has he found a way to get buckets. He will be one of the premier freshman in the state to track this season.
