Team 4
No. 10 2021 5’10 Logan Coker Lewisburg
One of the flashiest guards at the camp was Coker. He played with a lot of flare and fearlessness. He was tough to stay in front of always seeming to have other guards off balance. He used his craftiness to get to the rim and finish with some nice moves.
No. 66 2020 6’5 Theon Esseboom Grace Baptist Academy
Another Top 20 camper was Theon. He came in on a mission to let the other campers know who he was. Rather it was shooting jumpers or attacking the rim he found a way to put the ball in the hole. He had multiple dunks and was a tough cover for a lot of the campers. Theon picked up Mr. Hustle due to his relentless effort on the day.
No. 69 2020 6’6 TJ Hannah Saltillo (MS)
Hannah was one of the best athletes at the camp. He plays above the rim and dominates his space whenever he is on the floor. He blocks shots, grabs boards, and dunks almost anytime he gets the chance. Hannah can also handle the ball and shoot the ball well.
No. 19 2022 6’ Javon Hopkins Columbus (MS)
Javon came into the camp unknown but did a great job of making sure we knew he was before it was over. He has a nice handle and can get to the rim with ease. As he continues to work on the IQ part of the game, he will be one to watch for sure.
No. 3 2022 5’8 Jaden Lewars Grace Baptist Academy (MS)
Lewars is a true PG who gets everyone involved often. He has nice handles and vision that puts him ahead of most for his age. On the defensive end, he finds a way to get hands-on balls to cause turnovers. Has the game slows down for him be on the lookout for a great PG.
No. 85 2022 6’2 Lebron Lewis West Point (MS)
Lewis is a strong-bodied guard who gets after it on both ends. He’s a willing defender who will guard 1-5 and his body sizes allows him to do so. He is able to make layups with ease and rebounds the ball well.
No. 31 2020 6’1 Walker Moreland New Site (MS)
Mooreland was a dead-eye shooter on the day. He has a nice shot and if you give him an inch, he will make you pay. He hot 6 3s in a game and averaged around 7 3s a game last year during the school season. He can handle the ball and create his own shot. Look for him to have a big season.
No. 81 2020 6’3 J.T Vance Union (MS)
Vance was a physical presence throughout the day. He dominated the opposition in the post and scored whenever he wanted to. We were really impressed with his overall approach to the game and his attitude. He will be one for coaches to track going into the season.
No. 53 2020 Xavier Virges Houston (MS)
Overall Virges had a solid day. He made open shots and made some good passes that resulted in baskets for teammates. He showed his athleticism on multiple occasions while grabbing rebounds and finishing tough layups at the basket.
