Team 5

No. 60 2020 6’3 Steele Altmyer Heritage Academy (MS)

Altmyer had a good productive day. He went hard during drills and that translated over to the games. He has a good handle and a nice floater which he used well throughout the day. He is coming off a championship run at Heritage and they will look to add another this season.

No. 5 2020 6’ Quandarius Bender Heilberg (MS)

Consistency is what Bender had throughout the day. He kept a good attitude and high energy which carried over to his on-court performances. He can shoot the 3 well and finish around the basket.

No. 84 2023 6’4  Demondre Graham Southeast Lauderdale (MS)

One of the best underclassmen at the camp was Graham. He plays with high energy and gets down hill in a hurry. He lives with getting into the lane and finish with acrobatic finishes. Graham is also a capable 3-point shooter. On the defensive end he uses his length to cause problems. We were really impressed with him all day and can’t wait to continue to watch him this season. Easily a Top 10 freshman in the State.

No.15 2022 5’10 Samarion Grant Provine (MS)

Grant came in the camp and did what he usually does, which is get buckets. He wasted little time letting the others know that if he had the ball, he was going to make a play. He torched the nets from 3-point range and got in the lane to finish as well. He showed why he’s one of the top 2022 guys in the state.

No. 27 2020 6’6 Cooper McCleskey Caledonia (MS)

Cooper was another top performer at the event. He came into the event with quite a few Juco offers and left with even more. He is one of the biggest sleepers in the state, but has yet to receive that first D1 offer. There isn’t much he can’t do offensively. He can shoot NBA range 3s, handle, get to the basket, and has a high basketball IQ. Look for his interest among D1 coaches to pick him and the offers to start rolling in this season.

No. 28 6’5 Damian McKnight Lake Cormorant (MS)

McKnight was a dominate force whenever he had or didn’t have the ball. Offensively he bullied guys around all day. He used his strength and nice handle to get to the basket and finish through contact. Defensively he can guard multiple positions and always gets hands on the ball. Blocking shots and rebounding is something he does well.

No. 29 2023 5’8 Justice Moore Pearl (MS)

Moore came into camp with a good attitude. He was one of the few freshmen that attended and he made his presence noticed. He has a good understanding for the game and made some good plays happen for others. Next in his development is learning more about the PG position and getting that killer mentality.

No. 33 6’7 Kedrick Osby Newton (MS)

Another one of the top freshmen was Osby. He came out aggressive and got down hill to make plays happen from himself and others. He can handle the ball well, and he has a nice stroke from deep. With his size he can guard multiple positions and become an instant mismatch on the offensive end. Osby as a lot of skill and so much room to grow. We can expect to see his name for the next several years. As he continues to work on his game expect to see a dominate player on the horizon.
